SUMMARY:Freedom Fund Banquet
DESCRIPTION:The Freedom Fund Banquet is the New Hanover County Branch’s most important activity for raising the funds annually to carry out the NAACP mission. The 2024 Banquet will be a Black-Tie event held on Saturday\, September 14\, 2024\, at 7:00 PM in the Burney Center of the University of North Carolina in Wilmington (UNCW). The guest speaker will be Attorney Reginald “Reggie” Shuford\, executive director of the North Carolina Justice Center and immediate past Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Pennsylvania.
